Michaela Nerantzini

Assistant Professor

Michaela Nerantzini holds a Ph.D. in Neurolinguistics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her research focuses on the relationship between language and cognitive deficits in both acquired and developmental disorders. Her additional research area concerns the study of aphasia with the aim of designing effective intervention tools to enhance the language and cognitive skills of people with acquired language disorders. After her doctoral studies, she completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at Northwestern University in the US. From 2017 onwards she has worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Philology of the University of Ioannina and of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and at the Department of Speech and Language Therapy of the University of Patras
